Description

The purpose of this position is to provide consultation for the facilities.  The Registered Respiratory Therapist shall provide the services of a qualified therapeutic respiratory technician.  The sole responsibility of the Registered Respiratory Therapist shall be to provide guidance and counsel to the facilities respiratory services program.

• Provide consultation to the administration and staff regarding planning, policy, development and priority setting based on initial and on-going evaluations of the respiratory service needs
• Provide respiratory therapy consultation to any residents in the facilities in accordance with physician's orders
• Counsel the patient, staff and family with regards to the patient's respiratory therapy needs
• Make appropriate referrals for continuing respiratory care
• Review sanitation in accordance with current standards

• Travel to all facility locations as required (Keller, Colleyville, Burleson, Mansfield, Grand Prairie, Rockwall, Aubrey, & Murphy)
• Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist by the State of Texas, required
• Current BLS certification, required
• Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
• 3+ years' experience, required
• Critical Care or ER experience, preferred
• Experience writing policies and procedures, preferred 

• Fluency in English; written and oral communication, required
