Advanced Heart Failure Physician Opening | Baylor Scott & White | Fort Worth, TX
Baylor Scott & White has just opened an Advanced Heart Failure position to join a growing program for our advanced heart failure and future DT LVAD program based in Fort Worth.
Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center is currently looking for an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to work within the largest hospital system in the state of Texas. This position requires evaluation, assessment, pre and post management of LVAD patients, and active participation in the shock team with management of temporary mechanical support device including ECMO, IABP, protek and Impella. The outpatient clinic includes a dedicated geneticist as well as infiltrative and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy sub-specialty clinics. Our heart failure team works in close conjunction with our transplant center for consideration and evaluation of potential transplant recipients including participation in transplant selection committee. Prior research experience is a plus but not required.
- Reading transthoracic echocardiograms
- ECMO Management
- Endomyocardial biopsies
- Right and left heart catheterizations, IVUS
Requirements of the position:
- Qualified physician candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure
- Full time schedule
