Position Summary
Bellevue College continues to develop partnerships with various community, government, and educational entities across the State of Washington. As part of that partnership, some of their employees may be placed on duty at BC campus to provide services to our community members. These individuals are called Paraprofessionals at the college.
To register as a paraprofessional, please complete the following steps:
- Connect with your respective employer to obtain and complete the Paraprofessional Registration Form. Click on the “Apply for Job” button on this page
- If you don't have an account, click “Register Now”, then follow instructions to create an account. After logging into the account, complete all steps in the “application” process (we use this “application” process to register paraprofessional at our College). Please review Application Tips before applying.
- Complete steps 1 and 2 by following prompts on the screen
- At step 3
- At the prompt to attach “Resume”, please attach the fully completed and signed Paraprofessional Registration Form instead
- At the prompt to attach a “Cover Letter”, please re-attach the Paraprofessional Registration Form again
- At step 4
- In “Work Experience” section
- Start date: put today's date
- Employer: put name of your employer
- Ending Job Title: put your job title
- Leave blank for remaining fields in this step
- In “Work Experience” section
- At step 5: you do not need to attach document; simply go to the next step
- At step 6: put “N/A” for Reference Name and Title
- At step 7:
- You can choose to answer questions #1 to #10 in “Job Preferences” section, or leave them blank
- You must answer the questions in "Employment Questionnaire" section
- You must answer the questions in "Referrals" section
- You can choose to answer demographic questions in Step 8, or leave them blank
- Review your finished entries on step 9 and click “Submit” button

Prior to being placed on duty on BC campus, individuals will be subject to a pre-employment background check. Information from the background check will not necessarily preclude appointment, but will be considered in determining the individual's suitability and competence to provide services to campus community.
Paraprofessionals will be required to disclose if they are the subject of any substantiated findings or current investigations related to sexual misconduct at their current employment and past employment. Disclosure is required under Washington State Law.
