The Associate Renewals Sales Representative supports strategic renewal activities by preparing accurate renewal quotes, analyzing contract terms, and partnering cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders. This role requires at least 2 years of partner and customer renewal sales experience, including negotiation, contracting, and closing deals, along with strong renewal and quoting expertise, solid commercial acumen, and the ability to work independently with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical and analytical capabilities, particularly in Excel, data analytics, reporting, AI tools, and the ability to run and support automation projects—along with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. The role offers exposure to enterprise customers and global stakeholders, including EMEA, and includes direct partner- and customer-facing renewal responsibilities. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
• Prepare accurate and timely renewal quotes for maintenance contracts 90–120 days prior to expiration. • Review, analyze, and validate renewal contracts, pricing, and compliance with commercial and legal terms. • Support renewals across global regions, with EMEA coverage experience considered a strong advantage. • Apply strong commercial acumen to assess pricing scenarios, contract structures, renewal risks, and recovery opportunities. • Manage multiple renewals and competing priorities independently in a fast-paced environment. • Leverage advanced Excel, reporting, and analytics tools to track trends, build dashboards, and generate renewal forecasts. • Use AI tools and automation to streamline renewal workflows, enhance reporting, and improve data accuracy. • Run and support automation projects that improve renewal processes, operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and team productivity. • Maintain Salesforce.com (SFDC) data hygiene, ensuring accurate pipeline, renewal tracking, and forecasting. • Conduct revenue and billing analysis to ensure accurate invoicing, account alignment, and order documentation submission. • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Finance, Rev Rec, Order Services, and Customer Success teams. • Track non-renewals, analyze cancellation drivers, and provide data-driven insights through regular reporting cycles. • Demonstrate initiative, strong problem-solving skills, and exceptional attention to detail. • Build working knowledge of BMC products to effectively position renewal value. • Engage in partner- or customer-facing renewal discussions and negotiations as the role expands in scope.
 To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
• At least 2 years of partner and customer renewal sales experience, including negotiation, contracting, and closing deals. • Strong hands-on experience in software renewals and quoting. • Experience running and supporting automation projects to improve business processes, efficiency, and reporting. • EMEA coverage experience preferred. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and reporting. • Experience with analytics, dashboards, and data-driven reporting. • Exposure to AI tools and automation to improve operational efficiency. • Solid understanding of commercial contracts, pricing models, and renewal terms. • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work independently within a global, cross-functional setup. • High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
