Role Overview The Sales Commissions Technologist / Admin / Analyst will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of BMC's sales compensation systems and processes. This role ensures accurate and timely calculation, reporting, and analysis of sales commissions and incentives. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, technical aptitude, and a deep understanding of sales operations and compensation structures.
Key Responsibilities • Administer and maintain the sales commissions platform (e.g., Xactly, Callidus, or equivalent). • Partner with Sales Ops, Finance, and HR to ensure accurate and timely commission calculations. • Translate compensation plans into system logic and workflows. • Perform regular audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity. • Generate and distribute commission statements and dashboards. • Troubleshoot and resolve commission-related inquiries from sales representatives. • Support compensation plan modeling, testing, and deployment. • Document processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in sales operations, commissions administration, or compensation analytics. • Hands-on experience with sales compensation tools (e.g., Xactly, Callidus, SAP Commissions). • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications • Experience working in a SaaS or complex enterprise software environment. • Familiarity with Salesforce and CRM data structures. • Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit controls related to compensation. • Experience leveraging AI & GenAI Technology for productivity and the sales operations & commissioning function
