BMC's SaaS Ops team is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join us and design, develop, and implement complex applications, using the latest technologies.

Network Design and Implementation:
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance network infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce network architecture standards, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee network upgrades, expansions, and migrations to new technologies.
Network Performance and Security:
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and other security protocols.
- Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability testing.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Oversee the resolution of complex network issues and escalations.
- Provide third-level support for network-related incidents and problems.
- Ensure timely and effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
Project Management:
- Plan and manage network projects from conception through implementation.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain project documentation and report on progress to senior management.
Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with network equipment vendors and service providers.
- Evaluate and recommend new network technologies and solutions.
- Oversee procurement and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Prepare and present reports on network performance, security, and project status.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network engineering.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional(CCNP)/Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert(CCIE)certification required
- Domain Name System (DNS) knowledge is mandate.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, architecture, and security.
- Experience in configuring and managing BGP, Routing, IPsec Tunnels, VPC, VCN, subnets, TGW, DRG, security group, Fast connect, Direct Connect.
- Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting in large-scale environments.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, ASA/Firepower firewalls, and F5 load balancers.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing cloud technologies such as AWS, Oracle, and Google Cloud (GCP).
- Experience in data capture and analyze using Wireshark, Tcpdump.
- Proficiency in configuration and managing SSL certificates and Cipher security lists.
- Experience in working with F5 LTM, GTM and iRules.
- Extensive Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (Python, Ansible and Terraform).
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
