The VSE team partners closely with Sales and customers to capture requirements and articulate how BMC's unique and differentiated capabilities can best serve customer needs. As we continue on our exciting growth trajectory, with exceptional year on year results, we are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented Senior Solution Engineer (Presales) to join our team with a specialized focus on network monitoring expanding to BMC Helix Operations Management and AIOps for the Middle East Market.  
In this role, you will help enterprises transform how they manage complex network infrastructures through the intelligent automation, predictive insights, and real-time remediation capabilities of the BMC Helix platform.
You'll play a critical role in demonstrating how BMC Helix brings AI, machine learning, and autonomous agents to the forefront of network visibility, fault isolation, and performance optimization.

Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
  • Partnering with sales teams to identify customer challenges in network performance, availability, and fault management.
  • Deliver tailored technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements that show how BMC Helix and specifically Netreo:
    • Monitors and visualizes end-to-end network topology and health
    • Uses AI-driven root cause analysis (RCA) and event correlation to reduce noise and accelerate remediation
    • Applies predictive analytics to proactively address network degradation
    • Monitors device configurations, compliance auditing and tracking of changes.
    • Network path insights, and Role-Based Access & Security
  • Lead discovery sessions to map business needs to BMC Helix capabilities, particularly around:
    • Network observability
    • Service-aware infrastructure monitoring
    • Dynamic baselining and anomaly detection
  • Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to stay current with platform innovations, particularly in:
    • Network Performance Management
    • Broader AIOps Capabilities
    • BMC Helix GPT (Agentic AI capabilities)
  • Support RFP/RFI responses and assist in building customized solution architectures that align with the customer's enterprise network and ITSM stack.
  • Support the delivery of hands-on workshops and bootcamps for the enablement and expansion of our GTM partners

Empower IT operations with intelligence. Drive network performance with precision. Join us as we lead the AI-powered transformation of enterprise networks with BMC Helix! To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in presales, technical consulting, or solutions engineering for enterprise IT operations or network management tools.
  • Solid understanding of:
    • Network monitoring technologies (SNMP, NetFlow, ICMP, syslog, etc.)
    • Fault and performance monitoring
    • Service modeling and impact analysis
  • Hands-on knowledge of platforms such as BMC Helix Operations Management, TrueSight, SolarWinds, Cisco DNA, or similar network monitoring tools.
  • Experience or familiarity with AIOps, machine learning, and AI agents in IT operations environments.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and customer engagement skills.
  • Language requirement: fluency in Arabic 
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with BMC Helix products, particularly Netreo NPM, Helix Discovery, Helix Operations Management, and HelixGPT.
  • Understanding of ITIL, service assurance, and event correlation frameworks.
  • Certifications in BMC, Cisco, CompTIA Network+, or similar credentials.
  • Exposure to cloud-native network monitoring and hybrid infrastructure environments.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 
The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is €51,300 - €85,500
