Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • You will own the structuring and review of complex deals, partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product to ensure alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • You will play a hands-on role in high-value negotiations, bringing strategic insight that balances customer needs with long-term company goals.
  • You will build trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, using data and sound judgment to influence deal outcomes.
  • You will evaluate pricing models, discounting strategies, and margin impact to drive profitable, scalable deal decisions.
  • You will lead improvements to deal desk processes, tools, and workflows to increase speed, efficiency, and scalability as the business grows.
  • You will translate deal data into clear insights, preparing and presenting metrics, trends, and forecasts that support executive decision-making.

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:• You will bring strong business acumen and the ability to understand, shape, and influence commercial strategy.

  • You will apply strategic thinking and sharp analytical skills to balance big-picture priorities with attention to detail.
  • You will collaborate effectively with influencers and decision-makers across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams.
  • You will have experience serving as a key negotiator on complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • You will communicate clearly and confidently, translating data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
  • You will be proficient in CRM and CPQ tools such as Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle.
  • You will hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • You will bring 5+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Commercial Finance.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 
The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is €44,775 - €74,625 Min salary 44,775
