Shipping Clerk

Responsible for real time analysis, assisting the coordination and balance of Shipping Operations. Monitors and documents all productivity measurements. Supports the Shipping Manager/Lead to ensure all tasks are ready for the production crew. Reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner. Monitors and records attendance. Supports the Shipping Manager/Lead to ensure all End of day (EOD) tasks are completed.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for real time analysis, coordination and balance of Shipping Operations.
• Collects and records current productivity numbers and reports them to the Shipping Manager.
• Monitor and track attendance daily
• Reporting, researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner.
• Provides administrative support for the Shipping Manager/Lead.
• Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all Shipping technology.
• Performs additional duties as requested.
• Support Shipping Manager/Leads as needed.
• Decision Making Responsibilities
• Under direct supervision of the Shipping Manager. Work is performed within standard policies and procedures with little opportunity for unreviewed decision-making.
• Financial Responsibilities
• This position does not have any direct financial responsibilities.
• Supervisory Responsibilities
• This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. May provide routine information and support to less experienced staff.

Required Qualifications

• High School or equivalent experience in a Warehouse atmosphere.
• Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills
• Skilled at multi-tasking and managing competing priorities.
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Detail oriented and accurate.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly recognize and diagnose trend and patterns in productivity data.
• Must be able to work flexible hours determined by the needs of the department including weekends and evenings.
