We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Learning and Development Senior Director, Global Center of Excellence (COE). In this role, you will contribute to the strategic development of Learning and Development practices, drive operational efficiencies, and ensure the alignment of learning and development efforts with both regional and global business objectives. As a member of the Global Talent CoE Leadership Team, you will focus on learning strategy and contribute to the overall global talent CoE strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and fostering collaboration across markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. L&D Strategy Development & Leadership:
o Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with the organization's Talent Management and business goals and priorities.
o Lead the design and execution of training programs, learning platforms, and talent development initiatives that foster skill development, leadership growth, and career progression.
o Set the direction for learning programs that drive employee engagement, retention, and performance improvement.
2. Learning Program Design & Implementation:
o Oversee the creation of innovative, effective, and engaging learning experiences tailored to the organization's needs.
o Ensure the development of both formal and informal learning programs, including leadership training, technical skill development, soft skills training.
o Utilize modern learning technologies, such as learning management systems (LMS), eLearning, and blended learning approaches, to increase the scalability and reach of learning initiatives.
3. Leadership and Executive Development:
o Develop and manage leadership development programs to prepare high-potential employees for leadership roles within the organization.
o Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities for senior leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities and strategic thinking.
o Support talent development efforts to ensure a robust leadership pipeline for future organizational needs.
4. Organizational Development & Culture:
o Work to foster a culture of continuous learning where employees are motivated to seek out and engage in ongoing personal and professional growth.
o Partner with HR and other departments to align L&D strategies with talent management, employee engagement, and performance management.
5. Learning Needs Assessment & Performance Evaluation:
o Conduct thorough learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps and opportunities for development at the organizational, team, and individual levels.
o Use data and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of learning programs, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
6. Operational Excellence:
o Evaluate and manage external learning vendors, consultants, and training providers to ensure quality and global cost-efficiency.
o Provide advice and guidance on learning technology/platform solutions to streamline employee learning experience globally
Qualifications:
Education:
o Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development,
Education, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree or certification in L&D, OD, or a similar discipline preferred.
Experience:
o 10+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, organizational development, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
o Proven track record in developing and executing enterprise-wide L&D strategies that drive business outcomes.
o Experience with leadership development, learning technologies (LMS, virtual learning platforms, etc.), and instructional design.
Skills:
o Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
o Expertise in designing and delivering a variety of learning formats, including eLearning, classroom training, blended learning, and virtual learning.
o Proven ability to influence and engage senior leadership and drive cultural change within the organization.
o Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
o Data-driven decision-making with experience in using learning analytics to measure effectiveness and ROI.
