- CT Scan Tech/Radiology (R) START ASAP
- The CT Technologist is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
- The CT Technologist is licensed by the state as a general radiographer and is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including but not limited to CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities and biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Responsibilities also include: knowledge of processing of CT system, surgical/sterile procedure studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.

- American Heart Association (AHA) Approved Certifications
- FLU VACCINE REQUIRED during October 2024-March 2025 flu season - DECLINATIONS NOT ACCEPTED
- REQUIRED: ARRT (IN CT PREFERRED)
- BLS (AHA)
- WV LICENSE (WEST VIRGINIA MEDICAL IMAGING & RADIATION THERAPY TECHNOLOGY BOARD OF EXAMINERS)
- CERNER PREFERRED
- ANY MISSED SHIFT requires working a make-up shift during the same work week (if possible) or during the same pay period (if not possible during the same work week)
- Schedule Information
- ROTATING SCHEDULE: MONDAY DAYS 7A-7P, TUESDAY DAYS 7A-7P, AND WEDNESDAY NIGHTS 7P-7A
- TRAVELER MUST CLOCK IN & OUT IN ORDER TO GET PAID
- Previously employed CAMC permanent staff will have to wait 2 years before being hired as a traveler.
