LOCATION: Career & Technical Education - Albany Campus
BASIC FUNCTION:
Provides leadership and overall supervision in the management of the Career & Technical Education programs at the Albany campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for planning, curriculum development, program evaluation, personnel management, financial management, emergency procedures, scheduling, and facilities operations.
+ Commitment to building partnerships with post-secondary institutions and local businesses.
Job Qualifications
+ Candidate must possess New York State administrative certification, teaching certification and a Master's degree.
+ Experience in Career & Technical Education preferred.
+ Previous building level leadership preferred.
+ Demonstrated record of instructional leadership.
+ Ability to facilitate a successful building leadership team.
+ A leader who collaborates and builds consensus with staff, students and parents.
+ Commitment to contributing to a strong administrative team district wide.
+ Challenges others to achieve goals in a supporting learning environment.
+ Inspires excellence in students, staff and the community.
+ An excellent communicator with good listening skills, who is willing to receive feedback constructively and with respect.
