Job Purpose
The Senior TA Specialist, Leadership Pipelines is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for school-based and state-level leadership roles across Charter Schools USA. This includes identifying, attracting, and hiring Principals, Assistant Principals, Deans, Head of Schools, and other high-impact instructional and operational roles. In addition to traditional recruiting, this role leverages Executive Search, Direct Sourcing, and Talent Acquisition Strategy to engage passive candidates, build leadership pipelines, and position CSUSA as an employer of choice. The role ensures a high-quality candidate and leader experience while maintaining accurate workflows and documentation in ADP Recruiting Management.
How You Will Impact Education
- Lead Strategic Recruitment Campaigns: Drive the recruitment process for senior school and state leadership positions across multiple regions, using advanced sourcing techniques and Executive Search methodologies.
- Develop and execute Talent Acquisition Strategies that include Passive Candidate Engagement to identify future leadership needs.
- Partner with Leadership: Collaborate with Principals and Deputy Directors to define success profiles and align recruitment strategies with organizational goals.
- Utilize Direct Sourcing approaches, including networking, social platforms, and personalized outreach, to attract high-caliber leaders who are not actively seeking new roles.
- Structured Assessment: Source, screen, and assessment of candidates using competency-based interviews and leadership evaluation frameworks.
- Build and maintain long-term leadership pipelines through proactive relationship management and market intelligence.
- Data Integrity & Compliance: Maintain all candidate activity, notes, and dispositions in ATS and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Transparent Communication: Provide regular updates to school and state leaders, and VP of talent on hiring progress, candidate flow, and timeline expectations.
- Offer Strategy & Negotiation: Collaborate with HR, Leadership, and Compensation to prepare competitive offers aligned with pay scales and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority searches across regions.
- Proven experience sourcing and assessing leadership talent in complex, multi-site environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Executive Search, Direct Sourcing, and Passive Candidate Engagement strategies.
- Excellent communication, partnership, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting charter, public, or K--12 education organizations with strong understanding of K--12 school operations, leadership roles, and certification requirements.
- Familiarity with academic performance metrics and leadership competencies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of recruitment experience, preferably with a focus on school leadership or state-level education roles.
- Experience working in an ATS (ADP Recruiting Management preferred).
- Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.
- Travel up to 50% or as required to meet business objectives.
- May perform other duties assigned.
