Job Details
• A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for Night ICU RN's.
• 13 Weeks, Every other Weekend/Holiday.
• Open Heart Trained.

Job Requirements
• ICU RN with experience in a large hospital system.
• Must be Open Heart Trained.

Schedule Information
• Every other Weekend/Holiday required.
• Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830, 1830-0630.
• Unable to guarantee block scheduling.
• Travelers added to the core staff for scheduling.
• Weekend Requirements: Every other.
• Holiday Requirements: Rotating based on weekend group.

Unit Specific Information
• # of Beds: 33 beds, average daily census is 16.
• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:2-3 for adults, 1:2-4 for Peds.
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Pediatrics, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, respiratory distress.
• Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation.
• Health Support Tech M-F 0800-1630 on the unit.
• Floating Requirements: Typically to PCU, possibly to MedSurg.
• Orientation: 3 shifts of unit/department-specific orientation.
• RN Equipment Requirements: Nasal cannula to vent, RNs required to troubleshoot RT Equipment.

Additional Details
• WILL NOT APPROVE BLOCKED SCHEDULING OR SAME SCHEDULE/SHIFTS, MUST BE FLEXIBLE AND WILLING TO FLOAT AND WORK WHEN NEEDED.
• Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
• RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
