We're looking for a Director of Global Loyalty Analytics to shape the future of analytics in our global loyalty programs with millions of members across North America and Europe. This is a rare opportunity that allows you to dive deep into customer behavior and use data to innovate, create and develop attractive customer offers in a fast-moving retail environment.

Our loyalty program is growing fast and at Circle K we view building fans through loyalty an important enabler for winning the customer. Our loyalty program is highly data driven and we use everything from basic demographic segmentations to advanced behavioral analysis to create trigger-based offers to ensure we give the right offer to the right customer at the right time.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to combine strategic thinking and thought partnership with a deep understanding of how data and analytics can be leveraged to drive business results. For the right person this offers a unique opportunity to combine a strategic mindset with a get-it-done attitude.

We believe you have significant experience of working with customer loyalty programs, both from the Analytics and the Business side, maybe you have experience as a product owner? You need to show a good understanding for the technological enablers required to do good customer analytics and work with our Global Tech teams to ensure our tech platform is fit for purpose. Experience from implementation of a CDP in a large organization is a competitive advantage.

This is a global role and will require close relationships with key stakeholders in Operations, Loyalty, Merchandising, Fuel and Technology, both in North America, Europe and Asia. Some travel to be expected.

What You Will Do

Here are just a few ways that you'll help make journeys better:  

  • Lead our global customer- and marketing analytics team with people in multiple geographies across the world.
  • Be the data-driven thought partner to our Loyalty and Marketing teams, support them in their priorities, but also challenge and prioritize based on data and insights you and your team uncover.
  • Spearhead development efforts and support our tech teams to make the best customer analytics platform possible.
  • Support all descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive analytics needs of Circle K's loyalty programs.
  • Own, nurture and drive a Loyalty Analytics Strategic Roadmap that is aligned with company goals.
  • Act as the owner and the key decision maker for all Loyalty & Customer Data and the related data value chain.
  • Drive the analytics effort to continuously increase the value generation from our loyalty program. 

What You Need

We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:

  • A higher degree in an analytical discipline like Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or similar, preferred, but higher business degrees will also be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering results from customer loyalty programs, preferably from a large sized retailer.
  • Experience from implementation of a CDP will be a competitive advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and in any geography.
  • Ability to effectively drive change through data in a matrixed organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a proven track record of effectively converting strategy to deliverables.
  • Familiarity with modelling and attribution techniques.
  • Experience within Marketing, Marketing Analytics and Media Analytics is a plus.
  • You're able to collaborate with stakeholders at different levels and across geographies
  • You're comfortable taking initiative and driving it through to completion
  • You're comfortable with new and changing technology, and responding to business needs
  • You're curious and like to learn, both within business and technology
  • You have a strong commercial mindset and are always looking for opportunities to strengthen our business.
