Food DirectorType of Employment: Permanent
Location: Possibility to work from any of our offices in Europe
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA (relocation assistance is not provided)
THE ROLE
Reporting to the European Head of Foodservice and Concept, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Food Director to lead the development of European category strategy and initiatives to strengthen Circles K's position in the market. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the European foodservice market, manage vendor relationships, and build relations internally and externally.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Here are ways that you'll help make journeys better:
Develop and maintain the European food category strategy, ensuring alignment, understanding, and execution to support the global strategy for food service.
Provide strategic and tactical guidance to the Business Unit category team.
Together with our procurement function, ensure the optimal portfolio of suppliers and contracts with favourable terms and conditions, including product quality, sustainability criteria, pricing, deliveries, etc.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, fostering collaboration and partnership to improve category performance across all business units and with functional teams.
As part of the Global food team, monitor market trends, insights, research, consumer testing, and planning activities.
Lead a network for business unit category managers.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
We want you to join our team! Here's what we're looking for:
Higher relevant education 3-5 years
Several years of experience within the FMCG or food service industry.
Experienced in category management and strategy planning.
Strong collaboration, cooperation, and communication skills.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and written
Experienced with relevant Microsoft tools and industry software programs.
