COMMERCIAL BANKING PRODUCT SOLUTIONS SALES MANAGER WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The key objective of the Manager is to be a creative, solution-oriented thinker and leader defining Treasury Management Solutions strategy and executing all aspects of go-to-market activities in the National Corporate segments (Organizations >$500MM Revenue and new growth verticals). Support the structuring of a differentiated solution portfolio to attract new National Corporate clients Lead sales and go to market activities for advising National Corporate prospects and clients on working capital, treasury processes improvement and change management for complex enterprise banking technology solutionsLeverage homegrown and partner software solutions and a deep subject matter expertise around payments/receivable processing to solve essential pain points for National Corporate clientsDeliver internal and external results through leadership, process, people, and technology to grow CNB's National Corporate Banking segment. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Develop and lead the overall strategy for Treasury Management Solutions in National Corporate banking segment, partner with TMS leadership team to prioritize and execute on plans that create scale, drive growth and delight clients.
  • Partner with RBC Canada and RBC US Capital Markets on Treasury Management joint offerings, platforms and go to market opportunities that enhance and are aligned to the National Corporate segment strategy.
  • Design, implement and manage a consultative Treasury Management Solutions selling program for National Corporate targets, with clearly defined guidelines for proper discovery (bank agnostic) and recommendations for working capital solutions. Track and monitor progress. Recruit and develop sales making talent. Deliver against sales goals.
  • Build collaborative and accountable sales engagement model with National Corporate banking leadership with measurable and transparent goals for Treasury Management Fee Revenue. Ensure proper expectations around wallet share are set with clients prior to credit commitments being issued.
  • Collaborate with TMS Service and Delivery leadership to design and build a scalable onboarding and support model for National Corporate clients.
  • Collaborate with TMS Product and Segment Solutions leadership to develop differentiated offerings that tie clients into the CNB ecosystems with a demonstrated ROI. Partner with Product and Segment Solutions to develop and launch core product features and functionality required by the National Corporate segment.
  • Develop go-to-market strategy focused on under-penetrated verticals with large payments wallets where City National Bank can excel with solutions and servicing.
  • Co create unique solutions with clients that can scale across the National Corporate segment and deliver through Agile Development and Fintech partners.
  • Comply fully with all Bank Operational policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.). Complete all required training.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years in Senior Treasury Management Sales, which should include significant National Corporate banking leadership experience in a rapid growth environment
  • 5+ years management experience

  • Significant success in developing a highly qualified and productive workforce to grow treasury management revenue and profit in National Corporate banking segment and expanding market share with well-developed client management skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of treasury management products and services for the National Banking market segment.
  • Must possess an interpersonal style which enables the person to effectively interface with senior management including the CEO, clients and other colleagues; a communicator with an open, candid, clear and consistent style.
  • Ability to effectively partner with key constituents and recognized for being collaborative and a team player.
  • Proven ability to attract, build and develop a talented and creative team with sufficient knowledge, skills, experience, and positive work habits to drive successful delivery of the company's small business banking strategies.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in preparing and presenting information effectively, clearly, and concisely, in written and spoken form to a wide-range of internal and external constituencies, including executives, officers, product or service employees and clients.
  • Experience in budgeting as well as developing and tracking financial goals.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $195,995 - $364,003 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
