PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST LEAD

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Responsible for operating within the First Line of Defense for the security of City National Bank and maintaining applicable physical security systems controls. Team serves as the 24/7 emergency contact, escalating and documenting events and issues that may affect or compromise the Bank and its operations. Responsible for supporting their Corporate Security Supervision in overseeing the day-to-day operation. In addition to serving as the primary delegate or designee for the Supervisor, their responsibilities include reviewing and approving timecards/requests, case management approvals, incident response escalation contact, ServiceNow requests approvals and assignment, coordination and scheduling of equipment testing with vendors. Will coordinate and lead meetings and training sessions with teams and vendors. May work unsupervised and will be responsible for the oversight of the team daily processes and assignments. In addition, we will partner with the security services vendor to oversee the scheduling of contract security coverage. Responsible for monitoring, investigating, analyzing, and administrating the physical security systems (i.e., alarm automation system, access control, video surveillance, etc.) in addition to coordinating services and maintenance of the Bank's physical security systems. Responsible for analyzing, reporting and documenting physical security and physical security systems activities and issues that may impact or compromise the security of the Bank and its operations. Lead and maintain proactive and visible presence, addressing security concerns, and supporting the safety of Bank colleagues and non-colleagues. Provides high visibility presence, responds to incidents, partners with the Security Operation Center (SOC), provides colleague escorts, support executive protection and event security coverage.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Serves as a physical security Subject Matter Expert (SME) and the 24/7 emergency contact for the Bank.
  • Serves as the point of contact for physical security systems, emergency issues, and security issues for the Bank.
  • Supports management of the day-to-day operations.
  • Serves as the primary delegate for the Supervisor including reviewing and approving timecards/requests, case management approvals (i.e., incident reports, terminations, daily activity reports), monthly access review certifications, incident response escalation contact, ServiceNow requests approvals and assignments, coordination and scheduling equipment testing with vendors, etc.
  • Provides quality customer service to all CNB lines of business by answering and responding to high volume calls and emails regarding physical security systems, alarm monitoring and access control related issues, inquiries, processing of requests, and security events.
  • Monitor, investigates, analyzes, and administrates the physical security systems (i.e., alarm automation system, access control, video surveillance, etc.) coordinating services and maintenance of the Bank's physical security systems.
  • Responds to alarms, alerts, systems issues, and incident/emergency situations for the Bank and determines proper escalation and/or action. Provides support to the business lines and security vendors on handling issues, troubleshooting and incidents.
  • Coordinates and conducts preventative maintenance and testing of the Bank's physical security systems (i.e., alarm automation system and video surveillance) by partnering security vendors and colleagues. Documents preventative maintenance and testing in proper forms and reports risks and issues identified.
  • Process and oversee the review and processing of high volume of physical access requests in ServiceNow (i.e., Physical access provisioning, deprovisioning, printing of ID Badges, Leave of Absence access requests, and incident tickets, etc.).
  • Manages and administrates physical access to Bank facilities, including maintaining supplies (i.e., cards, badge printer ink, lanyards, and badge holders, etc.) and the distribution of ID badges.
  • Maintains required documentation (i.e., Alarm disposition, Daily Activity Reports, incident reports, incident tickets, service work orders, etc.).
  • Maintains Situational Awareness monitoring and reporting of internal events, external events or emergency incidents that potentially impact Bank operations by monitoring news and open sources.
  • Enforce and comply with Corporate Security and Bank policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Leads training sessions and provides guidance to new colleagues and contract security professionals.
  • Leads the operational support for new projects by conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), key distribution, physical security coverage, modifications and programming of physical security systems. In addition to supporting and monitoring Non-Public Personal Information (NPPI) transports.
  • Ensures Incident Response Escalations Procedures are followed in the event of a security incident.
  • Leads the Disaster Recovery (DR) Testing for Corporate Security to ensure systems are operational and monitored, including reporting of issues.
  • In compliance with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), manages colleague and non-colleague termination of physical access and the reporting of physical access review reports and attestations for identified high-risk areas.
  • Review, process, and submit security services invoices.
  • Supports management with the onboarding and offboarding of contract security professionals.
  • Develop and review physical security procedures and job aids.
  • Coordinates high-visibility patrols of CNB property and parking facilities.
  • Coordinates immediate in-person incident response to emergencies and events.
  • Coordinate security escorts and event coverage as directed.
  • Partner with Executive Protection team for executive leadership events.

Compensation

Starting base salary: $25.93 - $41.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
