  PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SUPPORT AND CLIENT CARE TEAM LEAD

 

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Performs day to day Client Care Coordination and manages the RBC Rochdale Portfolio Management Client Care team across various locations. Provides day-to-day management of the team to support their respective portfolios management teams and act as the primary Portfolio Management team liaison with all Operations teams. Coordinates client and operational support to a Portfolio Management Team to deliver exceptional client/business partner experience. Responsible for delivering high level of service to clients and Advisors individually in the role of Client Care Coordinator and as a Team Lead. Facilitates communication between the Portfolio Management Business Leadership Team, Regional Leaders, business units and system development teams and or third party vendors.

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Perform day to day client care coordination for Portfolio Manager(s)and their third-party Financial Advisors and Clients. Manage all aspects of maintaining client relationships by providing PMs with support appropriate with established service models for quality and timeliness. This will include active involvement in scheduling meetings, creating and distributing materials, as well as travel planning and submitting expense reports.
• Manage Client Care team across all portfolio management teams. Responsible for hiring, writing and conducting reviews, and managing performance and development for direct reports.
• Establish goals for all Client Care Team members and manage against those goals to ensure improved and consistent performance standards are met.
• Consult with portfolio management teams regarding challenges with current processes or systems, enhancements, or new functionality.
• Partner with Portfolio Management leadership to ensure high quality end to end service standards.
• May serve as a project manager on various projects by facilitating and coordinating the efforts of others for process enhancements, system changes, and policy and procedure creation / updates.
• Foster and maintains strong relationships with colleagues to ensure that processes are integrated to support expected customer service levels. Ensure service standards are met.
• Identify best practices and implement procedures to support organization goals for growth and streamline operations.

 

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

Required Qualifications*

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 5 years Financial Industry experience, preferably asset management
• 5 years of experience using MS Office
• 3 years of management experience

Compensation Starting base salary: $95,729 - $152,861 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
