PRODUCT MANAGER III - COMMERCIAL ONLINE PLATFORMS WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? The Product Management function includes the following responsibilities: Develops, manages, and owns products and programs that support corporate defined strategies and initiatives and contribute to the bank's competitive edge in the marketplace. Creates new products to increase market share. Develops and enhances strategic products to meet the bank's profitability goals. Provides direction and support relative to product design, enhancement, research, pricing/fees/profitability, implementation, analysis, reporting and performance. Product Management is an ongoing cycle. It begins with analysis of needs and opportunities, leading to product development. Once the product is developed, colleagues must be trained, policies and procedures developed, pricing and positioning established, and marketing materials created. Subsequently, product tracking occurs, followed by analysis and recommendations to enhance the product to provide better service to clients or to be more competitive in the marketplace. Product Management coordinates and manages the formulation and implementation of all activities for a specific product or product line from conception to marketplace; performs economic and market research and analysis; provides product documentation and training; and serves as technical advisor on matters concerning the designated product and/or product line. WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Product Ownership & Agile Responsibilities

  • Act as the Product Owner for assigned products/product lines, representing the voice of the business and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with agile teams to prioritize and manage the product backlog, breaking down large initiatives into smaller, actionable user stories.
  • Define acceptance criteria for user stories and ensure that delivered work meets the definition of done.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives, to support the team and ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Work closely with the development team to answer questions, provide clarification, and remove roadblocks during delivery.

Product Management Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned products/product lines, including their performance, profitability, and competitiveness, with end-to-end ownership.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement measures to improve product performance and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancement and development.
  • Prepare reports and analyses on assigned products/product lines, presenting findings to Bank Management (e.g., PRC, ALCO) on a regular basis.

Technical Product/Application Management

  • Own and manage assigned platforms/applications end-to-end including responsibility for ensuring the application's operational success, technical integrity, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure the development of technically sound and scalable solutions.
  • Serve as a technical advisor on matters concerning the designated product and/or product line, providing guidance on architecture, integrations, and system capabilities.
  • Monitor development activities to ensure alignment with product objectives, budget, quality standards, and schedule.
  • Provide operational support for technical product issues, including troubleshooting and resolution.

Client-Centric Product Development

  • Engage with internal and/or external clients and stakeholders to gather feedback, understand needs, and prioritize features that deliver maximum value.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Create and deliver training materials, marketing collateral, and product documentation to support product adoption and usage.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Lead the formulation and implementation of product strategies that align with the bank's overall goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and promotional plans.
  • Manage the product management portion of acquisition conversions, including product mapping, analysis, and client communication.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all products, applications, and processes comply with applicable banking laws, regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with development as well as day-to-day management.
  • Own and manage various risk assessments and annual reviews associated with the assigned scope of responsibility.

Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor product performance and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement changes to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and improve client satisfaction.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications*
  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of banking experience required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing medium to large projects required.
Additional Qualifications
  • Excellent project planning and managerial skills are required to plan, assign and monitor all assigned projects.
  • Extensive industry/business knowledge necessary.
  • Displays creativity when designing solutions to problems.
  • Colleague typically has five to eight years related experience with over two years managing an extensive project(s) and/or large team(s).

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $92,114 - $156,880 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
