RELATIONSHIP MANAGER SENIOR ENT PRODUCTION
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Develops new business prospects and manages existing client relationships in the assigned business segment. Works with a variety of product partners to present solutions that address client needs. Is responsible for profitable growth of the assigned portfolio as well as the corresponding risk. Requires active calling efforts, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Actively develop a pipeline of new client prospects consistent with the objectives and risk culture of the Bank.
- Identify opportunities within the existing client base to grow into more profitable relationships.
- Lead retail syndications for large credit relationships in conjunction with the Bank's syndications team.
- Solicit referrals from existing clients, professional contacts, and other industry resources.
- Prepare strategic relationship plans for each client or prospect with clear timing and expectations. These plans include specific calling schedules and objectives (such as cross sell strategy, expected revenue contribution, etc.) for each relationship.
- Leverage industry subject matter expertise to advise clients.
- Negotiate terms, price products within targeted rate of return, structure and document loans, ensure conformity with Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
- Exercise sound risk judgement in accordance with existing policies and procedures.
- Ensure the quality of all business introduced to the Bank.
- Represent the Bank by participating in outside civic and community affairs, business and industry-related organizations, and other professional activities as appropriate.
- Interface with other Bank departments to resolve all client needs as well as any internal issues.
- Coordinate objectives and define responsibilities for product support teams in a relationship or transaction.
- Monitor and analyze account activities. Make recommendations regarding accounts to be further developed or eliminated.
- Prepare reports for management.
- Monitor portfolio for quality, risk, and adherence to policy.
- Maintain awareness of competitive products, practices, rates, and changes in market conditions.
- Develop solutions to minimize any potential loss exposure.
- Provide thought leadership and industry specific guidance to business partners across the Bank.
- Organize workflow to prioritize optimization.
- Fully comply with all operational and credit policies/procedures as well as all regulatory requirements (e.g. Bank Secrecy Act, Know Your Client, Community Reinvestment Act, Fair Lending Practices, Code of Conduct, etc.).
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of lending/credit experience required.
- Minimum 5 years of Relationship Manager experience required.
- Knowledge of corporate entertainment financing structures. Focus on film and TV production financing preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Capable of working well both independently and in teams. Has the ability to work autonomously as a “self-starter” but must also be able to collaborate with a broader group.
- Strong analytical (e.g. credit, accounting, etc.) and organizational skills.
- Critical skills such as sales/marketing, communication, negotiation, data analysis, and project management are all vital to success in this role.
- Robust understanding of banking products and services applicable to target client segment.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $127,626 - $237,014 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
