As a Crew Leader/Gardener, you will be responsible for leading and participating in the day-to-day maintenance of our parks, gardens, and other green spaces. This is a physically demanding but rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in our city.
The Crew Leader/Gardener is responsible for leading and participating in the day-to-day maintenance of our parks, gardens, and other green spaces. This includes planting, cultivating, and caring for flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns. The Crew Leader/Gardener will also be responsible for overseeing other workers and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in horticulture, leadership skills, and a strong work ethic.
What will you do?
- Lead and participate in the day-to-day maintenance of our parks, gardens, and other green spaces
- Plant, cultivate, and care for flowers, shrubs, trees, and lawns
- Oversee other workers and ensure that all safety procedures are followed
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
- Other duties as assigned
