The Associate Manager, Makerspace takes on a leadership role by supporting the implementation of EPL's digital literacy initiatives, making and creating services, and development of EPL's technology classes and events. Daily responsibilities include supporting the development of EPL's technology classes and events; collaborating to develop new and evolving digital literacy and maker services for customers of all ages; providing operational oversight for the Makerspace at Stanley A. Milner Library; and supporting a staff of 14, in the development and execution of services.

Reporting to the Manager, Stanley A. Milner Branch, you will work cooperatively and collaboratively with members of the Stanley A. Milner leadership team to deliver exceptional experiences at EPL's flagship branch. You will establish and implement the short and long-range plans for Milner's Makerspace and contribute to EPL's system-wide Maker services. In this role, you will lead staff to ensure that EPL is the best place to learn, while continually working to provide exceptional customer experiences for the thousands of Edmontonians who visit EPL each and every day.
