This posting is for one (1) Temporary, Full-Time position that may continue until November 30, 2025

The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) requires a highly motivated professional with an extensive knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP) to assume the duties of a FOIPP Disclosure Analyst. Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Recommend the course of action and direct all responses relevant to formal requests made under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP Act).
  • Ensure compliance with the FOIPP Act by assisting in the development of internal policies and procedures, training programs, and manuals.
  • Assess and calculate the appropriate fees for requests made under the FOIPP Act.
  • Prepare submissions, presentations, and requests for review brought before the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
  • Provide ongoing assistance and training to members of the Edmonton Police Service.
  • Other related duties as required.
