• Operate and maintain a variety of modern survey instruments accurately and efficiently
• Process survey data by uploading, downloading, and utilizing specialized survey software
• Conduct essential field surveys, including topographic and construction surveys, using both GPS and conventional survey equipment
• Perform basic survey and grading calculations using specialized software and calculators
• Assist crew lead in organizing and coordinating a diverse range of surveys, such as playground construction layout, large-scale landscaping, topographical, and encroachment surveys
• Assist in performing specialized surveys including preliminary design surveys, control surveys, and as-built surveys
• Consult and collaborate with Survey Technicians, Engineers, Designers, Consultants, and Survey Supervisors to establish and meet project deliverables
• Ensure the survey vehicle is properly stocked and all equipment is accounted for and well-maintained daily
• Maintain records, including timekeeping reports and digital survey files
