Dermatopathology Fellowship Trained Pathologist
DENVER/BOULDER AREA, COLORADO (USA). Join the Colorado Permanente Medical Group (CPMG) as a part‑time AP/CP board‑certified pathologist with dermatopathology fellowship training. You'll be part of a collaborative, well‑established team of 14 pathologists and work with high‑quality, diverse case material in a physician‑led, multi‑specialty organization.
This role is an excellent fit for pathologists who want to focus on dermatopathology while maintaining strong general surgical pathology and cytology skills. With minimal call, robust technical support, and a practice structure designed for long‑term sustainability, you'll enjoy an exceptional work–life balance in one of the most desirable regions in the country.
Position Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic interpretation of general surgical pathology and cytology
- Dermatopathology sign-out consistent with fellowship training
- Intraoperative frozen section consultations
- Immediate assessment of cytology specimen adequacy
- Participation in tumor boards and selected organizational committees
- Serving as Clinical Medical Director for designated medical office laboratories

- Pay range: minimum $370,870 and maximum $436,317. *Salary will be based on years of experience and FTE.
Our pathology service supports 29 outpatient primary care and subspecialty clinics and two ambulatory surgery centers, with a high-volume, growing practice of approximately 65,000 surgical pathology cases annually - structured to promote efficiency, diagnostic excellence, and sustainability.
