Scott County Hospital, located in Scott City, KS, is seeking a qualified CT/Imaging Technologist, for our hospital facility. **$7000 Sign-on Bonus**
CT/Imaging Technologist Responsibilities:
- Perform CT procedures that ensure an accurate and complete examination within the guidelines and standards.
- Post-process data for interpretation per radiologist protocol.
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures utilizing a pressure injector and administering contrast under supervision.
- Perform daily safety warm-up, quality assurance, and quality control testing according to established criteria. Evaluate required quality control tests before CT imaging is performed. Initiate procedures only when CT imaging equipment meets quality assurance and quality control requirements, and results comply.
- Follows all radiation dose monitoring guidelines.
- Follow approved radiologist protocols and imaging parameters while delivering quality patient care and ensuring safety.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
- Perform venipuncture for injections.
- Process images and reviews for proper identification and quality control.
- Liaison between patients, providers, radiologists, and other members of the support team.
- Prepare procedures for interpretation by radiologists.
