Treasury Technician____________________________________________________________________
Department: Corporate finance - Treasury
Location: Laval, QC (4204 boulevard Industriel, H7L 0E3)
Hybrid work: 3 days at the office and 2 days remotely
Type of employment: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours)

THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager, Treasury, within the Finance team, the Treasury Technician will be responsible for Canadian payments, transfers and wire transfers. He/she will print Canadian cheques, prepare various analyses and be responsible for opening and closing bank accounts.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Excited to embark on a journey with us? Here's a breakdown of the key responsibilities in this role:
Prepare and track various payments on banking platforms (DAS, tax payment, wire transfer, EFT);
Print Canadian cheques and send TFEs to the bank;
Prepare various analyses, such as bank fee analysis;
Open/close bank accounts;
Participate in the continuous improvement of job-related tools and procedures;
Participate in various special projects relating to all areas of finance and treasury.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Education
DEC in Administration - Finance\Accounting
Experience:
3 years in finance or accounting
Knowledge and skills:
Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines;
Be meticulous, autonomous, show initiative and have good analytical skills;
Good communication skills and team spirit;
Excellent Excel and Word skills.
Language skills
Bilingualism required (French and English), both written and spoken, as the person will be called upon to serve English-speaking regions.
