Director of Pharmacy – Full Time
The Ridge 
Lexington, KY

As a full-time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director of Pharmacy, you will oversee all pharmacy operations including planning, organizing, controlling, and supervising activities, according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed-upon programs with assistance from a full support team.   

Schedule: This position is scheduled to work at least 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM. 

Starting Pay: $140,000 annually plus bonus, depending on experience. 

About the Facility: The Ridge offers a healing environment to reassure patients' sense of security and confidentiality. Dedicated to excellence, The Ridge is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, as a licensed, 110-bed hospital, providing psychiatric (mental health) and substance use disorder (drug and alcohol rehabilitation) services to children, adolescents and adults. Inpatient care is provided on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week. Outpatient and partial hospitalization services are provided on a five-day per week basis, days and evenings. Care is provided according to an established code of ethical conduct and strict adherence to patient rights. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

Required Qualifications: 

• BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Kentucky Pharmacist licensure in good standing
• 2 to 5 years of management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment, behavioral health preferred
• Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility
• ​Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff

Hospital Requirements  

• TB Test - Proof of negative TB test within the last 12 months (PPD, QFT, or CXR)
• (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or a blood titer proving immunity 
• Varicella - 2 document doses or a blood titer proving immunity 
• Hep B3 Series (or declination)
• ​(Flu) Influenza - required for hire between Oct 1st and April 30th 
• COVID Vaccine
