Pharmacy Clerk
Lee Memorial Hospital
Fort Myers, FL

Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm, NO WEEKENDS!

CPS Solutions, LLC is seeking highly motivated and customer service-oriented pharmacy professionals who want to elevate their career to the next level. We are currently conducting a search for a Pharmacy Clerk to join a growing team of colleagues at our customer site, Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, FL, to provide administrative, clerical and customer support to the Pharmacy through various activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and serve pharmacy customers in-person and via phone in a timely, friendly, and professional manner.
  • Look up pharmacy customers in computer system to determine status of orders.
  • Escalate & communicate any issues to pharmacy liaisons as appropriate.
  • Operate pharmacy point of sale (POS) system to accurately process prescription transactions.
  • Troubleshoot billing issues with pharmacy customers via phone.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and faxes daily.
  • Place order and maintain pharmacy and office supplies for CPS. Orders Business Cards, forms, certificates and other printing as needed.
  • Order mailing supplies (FedEx, USPS, etc.) and packing/shipping supplies (coolers, bubble wrap, order form paper, etc.)
  • Order non-routine courier service as needed, maintain routine and non-routine courier records, and help resolve any issues with the pharmacy courier service.
  • Maintain compliance standards and accreditation requirements (temperature testing, shipping verification).
  • Other related duties as assigned.

 Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent degree
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation
  • Excellent organization skills with an attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills including experience using MS Word

 And bonus points if you have:

  • Interest in working in a Pharmacy long-term by pursuing a Technician License
