Pharmacy Technician - Part Time

As a part time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician , you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; performing order entry; procuring drugs; billing. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position will work 20-24 hours per week, Monday-Friday from 7:00AM to 4:00PM, and weekends as needed 7:00AM-3:30PM Saturday/Sunday.
Starting Pay: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience.
About the Facility: Located on a private 37-acre campus in Memphis, TN, Lakeside Behavioral Health System provides comprehensive behavioral health and addictive disease services, including inpatient, outpatient, and residential treatment, for people of all ages. The 313-bed facility is accredited by the Joint Commission. The centralized pharmacy staff has a good relationship with the nursing department. CPS Solutions has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy
- Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration
- Hospital experience preferred
- Omnicell experience preferred
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
