Staff Pharmacist - Per Diem

Description: As a per diem, nonexempt, CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist , you will fill orders with accuracy; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule: This position does not have any regularly scheduled shifts/hours, this position is to help cover staff PTO and will work as needed.
Starting Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour, based on experience.
About the Facility: Perimeter Behavioral of West Memphis is a Joint Commission accredited behavioral health facility that primarily treats patients between the ages of 6 and 17. This facility is located in Northeast Arkansas just across the Mississippi River from Memphis, TN in a quaint home that was built in 1939 and is a registered with the National Register of Historic Places. The programs Perimeter Behavioral of West Memphis offers are designed to create an emotionally safe experience for our patients, families and staff, be it in our acute care or residential treatment setting.This facility treats child and adolescent patients and offers inpatient treatment, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, trust-based relational intervention, recreational therapy including pet therapy, as well residential treatment. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 8:00AM to 2:00PM.
Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
- Current Arkansas Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience in a hospital setting is preferred but experience in other settings will be considered
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps, and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Hepatitis B3 Series or declination
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between October 1st - April 30th
- COVID-19 Vaccination
