The Reimbursement & Contract Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and analyzing payer contracts to ensure the financial operations of our healthcare facility align with strategic goals. Responsibilities include the detailed review and negotiation of contracts, monitoring compliance with established terms, and conducting comprehensive financial and reimbursement analyses to recommend improvements. The role demands close collaboration with billing, finance, and clinical departments to optimize revenue and adhere to regulatory standards. Challenges often faced include resolving payment discrepancies and adapting to changes in healthcare regulations. Typically, this role involves a combination of desk-based contract review, meetings with internal teams, and presentations to management.

• Three years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, contract management, or related fields
• Experience with healthcare financial systems and revenue cycle management
• Experience with managed care contracting and reimbursement methodologies such as DRG, APC, and fee-for-service
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field

• A master's degree or certification in healthcare finance or contract management

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
