Position Summary: Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Machine Learning Engineer to build, deploy, and monitor artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) models to automate processes and transform data into meaningful information. Duties include: apply data modeling, machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis to extract and analyze information and build end-to-end solutions to meet organizational objectives; research, experiment with, implement, train, and re-train ML algorithms and tools; engage with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions leveraging ML models and technologies; analyze data and identify differences in data distribution that could impact model performance in real-world use cases using industry leading tools, technologies and best practices; design ML approach, apply appropriate techniques, and develop custom algorithms as needed to address business problems and predict outcomes of interest; apply sampling techniques and investigate adversarial trends, identify behavior patterns, and respond with logic changes; compare models using statistical performance metrics and ensure accuracy of business metrics; visualize, interpret, and report data findings to internal clients and leadership; mentor junior team members; and collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to drive towards business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Multiple positions. - Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Business Analytics and Project Management, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Data analysis for health care industry, products, or systems; Machine learning (ML), statistical analysis, and predictive modeling; Programming in R, Python, and SQL; Databases: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; “Big data” platforms including Hadoop (Azure, GCP, or AWS) and Spark; ETL (Extract/Transform/Load); Bash or Shell scripting; Data manipulation and data warehousing; Machine learning operations such as model versioning, model and data lineage, monitoring, model hosting and deployment, scalability, and orchestration; Quantitative analysis techniques, including clustering, regression, and pattern recognition; Developing and deploying predictive models or ML systems in a cloud environment, such as GCP, AWS, or Azure; Developing data science products; End-to-end data science lifecycle and workflow; ML and data stack solution space; GCP, Vertex-AI, and the PyData ecosystem; and  Tracking various OSS projects. Pay Range: $130000.00/year to $180000.00/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
