Certification Details
• BCLS required.
• ACLS from American Heart Association or the American Red Cross preferred.
• Chemotherapy administration certification preferred.

Job Details
• Registered Nurse specialty in Tuscaloosa, AL.
• Facility: DCH Regional Medical Center, part of the DCH Health System - MSP.
• Employment type: Travel/Contract.
• Specialty: MS/Tele. 36 or 48 hours accepted for this position.
• Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5-6, occasional 1:7. This is a fast pace/high case load facility.
• Experience Required: 2 years.
• First time travelers are accepted.
• Every other weekend required.
• Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away).
• Must pass cardiac exam during orientation.
• EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation.
• Unit is primarily Ortho/post-surgical and trauma; a select part of the unit is dedicated to oncology patients. Chemotherapy is sometimes administered by trained nurses who are certified.

• Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away).
• Certifications required: BCLS.
