- Registered Nurse for Medical Surgical / Telemetry at Deaconess Gateway Hospital
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start: 11/18 or 12/2 - Bi-weekly orientation
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)
- Job Requirements
- Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Tele/Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience
- Charge nurse experience preferred
- Recent EPIC charting experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
- Schedule Information
- Primary location: Gateway
- Shift Requirement: 12hr Days EVERY WEEKEND 6:30-7
- Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every Weekend. Every other holiday
- Unit Specific Information
- Unit Information: 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5/6 (six is very rare); NOCs 1:6-7; CN takes assignment on all shifts
- Skillset REQUIRED: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessment skills, Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, Intitate/titrate drips, heart cath recovery
- PREFERRED: NG/PEG tubes, PIV insertion, Tikosyn dosing, chest tubes

- Float Requirement: First to float within skillset. Cross campus float possible with notice
