Job Details
• Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Travel assignment
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)
• Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Tele/Med/Surg, 1 travel assignment, trauma level II experience. Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Patient Population: Complex Med/Surg/Tele patients. Post cardiac caths with interventions, CVA/TIA, ICD. Complex abdominal surgeries (open bellies/colons), oncology, cranis POD 2.
• Skillset: REQUIRED: NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong neuro assessement skills. Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, Intitate/titrate drips, heart cath recovery. PREFERRED: NG/PEG tubes, PIV insertion, Tikosyn doing, chest tubes.
• A hard worker, resilient and manages change well, sociable candidates
• Covid-19 Vaccine Not Required -- Subject to change

Job Requirements

• Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)

Schedule Information
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start: Specific dates provided
• Primary location: Gateway
• Shift Requirement: 12hr Days EVERY WEEKEND 6:30-7
• Float Requirement: First to float within skillset, potential float to other campuses with notice
• Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every Weekend. Every other holiday.
