We are seeking a committed professional who is eager to enhance our thriving oncology program while delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. If you are passionate about making a difference, we invite you to consider this rewarding opportunity!

Key Responsibilities

As a Hematology/Oncology Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our veteran patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will actively engage in the educational mission of the agency, contributing to the advancement of knowledge and skills in the field. Experience in chemotherapy and related hematology and oncology procedures is highly desirable.

Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for success in this role. Candidates should also be capable of meeting the qualifications necessary for an academic appointment with Texas A&M School of Medicine at the Assistant level or higher. The Hematology and Oncology section at CTVHCS is an integral part of the Medical Service, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of various malignancies. We are academically affiliated with Texas A&M School of Medicine and partner with Baylor Scott and White Healthcare, which hosts one of the key fellowship programs in Hematology and Oncology. Currently, our section is home to several active research protocols and is poised for further expansion. The CTVHCS also maintains a Commission on Cancer (CoC) approved cancer program.
