**Responsibilities**

As our Cardiac Nurse at Mercy General Hospital you'll care for patients who may have life-threatening cardiac events or conditions while helping their families navigate daily care and the long-term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital.

You'll never have the same day twice as your patients' needs evolve. That's why you must be adaptable and detail-oriented observing vitals and reporting the warning signs early to our multidisciplinary team of cardiologists EKG techs and other cardiovascular professionals.

**Position Summary:**

+ Managing acute and implantable mechanical circulatory devices.

+ Continuous renal replacement therapy and caring for thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) and thoracoabdominal aneurysm repair (TAAA) patients with post-operative lumbar drains.

+ You will be trained in direct recovery of the post open-heart patient.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Current California RN License

+ 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Critical Care unit

+ Current ACLS and BLS certifications through American Heart Association (AHA)

**Preferred:**

+ Critical Care experience in a Cardiac acute care setting

**Pay Range**

$65.29 - $79.28 /hour
