**Overview**
As our Medical Surgical Nurse at CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake, you'll excel in your nursing career by providing care to patients admitted to our unit. Most of your patients are funneled in from other units providing you with the opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, critical care, OB, pediatrics, surgical services, and emergency.

This is a full-time, 12-hour, rotating AM/PM shift position including rotating weekends and Holidays.

CHI St. Alexius Health Devils Lake Hospital is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital accredited by The Joint Commission licensed by the North Dakota State Department of Health and certified by the Department of Health and Human Services for participation in the Medicare Program. Our hospital has been committed to providing patients quality medical treatment in the Lake Region area and surrounding communities since 1902.
**Responsibilities**
Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift
Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation
Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy, and imaging
**Qualifications**
Active North Dakota (ND) Registered Nurse License, compact state RN licensure accepted.
Compact RN license holders must obtain North Dakota licensure within 90 days of start date, if employee resides in the state of ND.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS).
**Pay Range**
$32.08 - $46.51 /hour
