This position performs professional nursing tasks in a clinical role in the management of the nursing care of clients in a correctional facility. The qualified individual must be a registered nurse with a current State of Iowa license, be certified in CPR, be able to triage, adapt to changing environments, have professional communication skills and be a role model. A background in mental health would be a benefit, but is not required.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Iowa by the Iowa Board of Nursing or licensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact Administrator's Agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.
