The Program Manager will oversee the Oracle end-to-end implementation project for Dollar General. This role requires exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and execution skills to deliver a successful implementation on time and within budget. Job Details:Duties & Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage the Oracle ERP and HCM implementation project for the Dollar General deliverables, including planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing phases.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, IT teams, business units, and third- party system integrators, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables for Dollar General responsibilities.
- Strategic Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely decision-making and problem resolution for Dollar General deliverables and responsibilities.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and fulfill business requirements. Conduct regular project reviews and assessments to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report project progress, performance metrics, and financials to stakeholders.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with all Dollar General project participants, providing direction, motivation, and support. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure team alignment with project goals.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation within the project scope and beyond.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Work Experience &/or Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP) is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Program Manager or Project Manager in software implementations, preferably in large enterprise environments.
