General Summary:
Provides leadership to the field through leading recruiter in sourcing, recruiting and interviewing Store Manager candidates. This position is responsible for development and execution of the external faced Talent Acquisition Strategy. Partners with operations and broader human resource leadership to forecast field management needs. Responsible for cultivating partnerships with national and community organizations to provide Dollar General with a diverse pool of candidates. This position supervises a team of Field Recruiters to meet established performance metrics. Creates recruiting initiatives that build bench strength, reduce turnover and ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state laws.
Job Details:Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manages the field-recruiting process, identifies gaps and recommends solutions as needed.
- Ensures that positions are posted accurately and filled in a timely manner.
- Ensures Field Recruiters comply with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Coaches Regional and District Managers on recruiting and interviewing techniques.
- Directs and manages the overall recruiting activities of Field Recruiters.
- Develops measurement tools to determine the effectiveness of the team.
- Develops team of Field Recruiters in the areas of sourcing, recruiting and interviewing skills.
- Partners with key departments at the SSC to elevate the talent acquisition strategy through streamlining processes and driving applicant flow.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
- Extensive knowledge of recruiting positions at all levels.
- Knowledge of behavioral based interviewing, sourcing and recruiting.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to develop recruiting forecasting model.
- Strong spreadsheet development and reporting skills.
- Ability to lead, direct and develop a team of exempt employees.
- Knowledge of overall Human Resource functions.
- Ability to communicate with candidates and management employees at all levels.
- Flexible and adaptable.
- Strong relationship building and networking skills.
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks for timely completion.
- Position requires extensive travel.
Work Experience &/or Education:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Degree in Human Resources preferred.
- 5-7 years in Human resources function – HR Generalist or recruiting position.
- Experience in leading and developing exempt employees.
- Proven track record in building partnerships with internal and external business partners.
- Proven ability to develop and analyze data.
