Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble hydraulic hose assemblies according to work orders, prints, and customer specifications
  • Cut, measure, and crimp hydraulic hoses using hand tools and hydraulic crimping equipment

  • Select proper hoses, fittings, adapters, and components based on pressure ratings and application requirements

  • Inspect finished hose assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications

  • Perform pressure testing and leak testing as required

  • Identify and troubleshoot hose, fitting, and fluid power issues

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards

  • Follow company quality procedures and documentation requirements

  • Assist customers (internal or external) with hose assembly needs, as applicable

  • Participate in inventory control, material handling, and stocking of hydraulic components

  • Adhere to all safety policies related to hydraulic systems, equipment operation, and personal protective equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience assembling hydraulic hoses and fittings

  • Familiarity with brands such as Parker, Gates, Eaton, Aeroquip, or equivalent

  • Knowledge of crimp specifications, pressure ratings, and safety factors

  • Forklift or warehouse experience (if applicable)

  • Frequent standing, bending, and reaching

  • Manual dexterity for assembling small and large components

Ability to safely lift, push, and pull materials
