Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assemble hydraulic hose assemblies according to work orders, prints, and customer specifications
Cut, measure, and crimp hydraulic hoses using hand tools and hydraulic crimping equipment
Select proper hoses, fittings, adapters, and components based on pressure ratings and application requirements
Inspect finished hose assemblies for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
Perform pressure testing and leak testing as required
Identify and troubleshoot hose, fitting, and fluid power issues
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
Follow company quality procedures and documentation requirements
Assist customers (internal or external) with hose assembly needs, as applicable
Participate in inventory control, material handling, and stocking of hydraulic components
Adhere to all safety policies related to hydraulic systems, equipment operation, and personal protective equipment (PPE)
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience assembling hydraulic hoses and fittings
Familiarity with brands such as Parker, Gates, Eaton, Aeroquip, or equivalent
Knowledge of crimp specifications, pressure ratings, and safety factors
Forklift or warehouse experience (if applicable)
