ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Ophthalmology located in Greenville, NC are seeking a full-time Pediatric Optometrist to join our expanding team. The pediatric optometrist will be a partner in improving access to specialized care for children in the region. Completion of Pediatric Optometry Residency training preferred, but not required. New graduates and experienced ODs are encouraged to apply.

- Outpatient clinic conveniently located near ECU Health Maynard Children's Hospital, a 198-bed children's hospital on the campus of ECU Health Medical Center. The facility includes a 52-bed NICU, a 20-bed step down unit, and a state-of-the-art pediatric emergency department
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and specialized testing and therapy as needed for new and existing pediatric patients
- Diagnose and assist in treating ocular diseases in children such as refractive errors, strabismus, and amblyopia
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging including corneal topography, fluorescein angiography, OCT, and other specialized studies
- Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses
- Support pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients
- Collaborate with the ophthalmology team to triage urgent eye conditions
- Contribute to training initiatives and program development
