As a Corporate Finance Intern, you will be located in the EDUSERVE Finance department and support the Finance team with any and all aspects of Corporate and Schools finance and Treasury projects. The incumbent will perform professional-level work in. The position reports to the Finance Manager and provides support to all departments within the Corporate Finance team.

How You Will Impact Education

Instruction/Education Responsibilities

  • Assists department(s) in special projects to support the finance team and Finance department Leaders.
  • Prepare and Coordinate Documents for Electronic Filing.
  • Assist with preparation of bond reporting templates.
  • Create or update lists for bond reporting for internal control.
  • Assist with research and analysis as needed.
  • Obtain and organize documents needed for due diligence.
  • Assists department(s) in preparing procedures and provide recommendations.
  • Assists with special studies that require data compilation; analyzes and interprets information in oral and written presentations.
  • Monitors and stays abreast of current and proposed legislation as it relates to the industry.
  • Analyzes and performs research on current and past financial data performance and prepares reports and projections based on analysis. Identifies trends in financial performance and provide recommendations.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of business organization, Finance and accounting and management.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate proposed projects.
  • Ability to work with data, support team on projects, and prepare presentations and other financial reports.
  • Ability to express ideas effectively orally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally.

Job Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a degree in finance, accounting, or another related field.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
