Physician - Gastroenterology (GI) – GI Hospitalist

Emory Healthcare, Division of Digestive Diseases is seeking a GI Hospitalist to join our growing practice at Emory Decatur Hospital. This position will include inpatient consults and rounding and physician will be expected to perform general GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, PEG placement, push enteroscopy and qualified to read video capsule endoscopy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inpatient Consults and Rounding
- Endoscopic Procedures
- Supervision of IP APP
- Care Coordination with OP Gastroenterology Team and other IP Services
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME Gastroenterology fellowship
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges
- Licensure by the Georgia Composite Medical Board will be required prior to commencement of employment
