Job Summary:
This practice cares for a high volume of patients in the community and is part of the Englewood Health Physician Network (EHPN). Under the direction of the Practice Administrator and/or EHPN Director, this position supports EHPN practice site operations by maintaining office systems and supervising staff. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a timely patient flow; preparing payroll; managing correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring administrative functions; and supervising staff. In addition, they will achieve financial objectives by participating in annual budget preparation; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; and initiating corrective actions.

Job Essentials:
- Three (3) years of administrative experience, including one (1) year of medical office experience.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems.
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications.
- Knowledge of medical practices and terminology.
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure to answer correspondence and prepare reports.
- Skill in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.
- Skill in evaluating the effectiveness of existing methods and procedures.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply policies and procedures.
- Skill in operating a variety of office equipment.
- Ability to deal with patients, medical and administrative staff, and the public effectively.
Education:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Courses in health care office management preferred.
Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources. Minimum rate: $65,000.00 annually
