A Division Order Analyst is responsible for the proper distribution of revenues obtained from oil purchases by establishing and maintaining accurate Division of Interest records by analyzing various legal ownership documents. Responsibilities include: 

  • Review and interpret ownership documents, including but not limited to, leases, assignments, title opinions, deeds, and estate documents
  • Create and maintain accurate ownership records in the company's database
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Accounting Departments to ensure accuracy of payments
  • Coordinate with Operators to obtain data for new well setups
  • Research and analyze title to verify ownership interests
  • Calculate net revenue interests and prepare Division Orders for mineral owners
  • Communicate with internal departments, landowners, and attorney's to resolve any disputes or issues
  • Communicate with mineral owners and respond to various inquiries regarding revenue payments and ownership


Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher education is preferred
  • 3 years Division Order Analyst experience / Land Analyst experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and industry-specific software
