Enterprise Products seeks a highly skilled and motivated Lead GIS Systems Analyst to join our Data and Analytics organization. This strategic role combines technical expertise in ArcGIS development with GIS management oversight to accelerate our transformation into a data-driven company. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Data and Analytics leadership to integrate GIS capabilities into our enterprise data strategy, enabling data-driven decision-making across operations, asset management, and business intelligence.

As a key Data and Analytics team member, this role will be instrumental in aligning GIS initiatives with our broader data strategy, ensuring geospatial data integration with our enterprise data platform, and developing innovative solutions that leverage location intelligence for business value.

Responsibilities include, but limited to:

  • Design, develop, and implement GIS web applications and maps using Esri's ArcGIS software suite
  • Develop and maintain geoprocessing scripts, tools, and models for automating GIS workflows
  • Stay updated with latest GIS technology advancements and evaluate new tools
  • Drive strategic architecting and implementation using Esri and other technologies
  • Manage enterprise ArcGIS licensing, deployment, and maintenance
  • Serve as primary liaison with Esri, managing vendor relationship and contract negotiations
  • Oversee ArcGIS system upgrades, patches, and maintenance schedules
  • Communicate GIS benefits and applications to stakeholders
  • Develop business cases for GIS projects, highlighting ROI
  • Collaborate with IT for seamless GIS system integration
  • Develop and maintain data standards and protocols
  • Facilitate cross-platform data sharing and integration


Requirements

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, Information Systems, or related field
  • 7 years of experience developing GIS solutions with Esri's ArcGIS suite
  • 3 years of experience managing enterprise GIS implementations
  • Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Server administration
  • Strong analytical and ETL skills
  • Experience managing GIS budgets and vendor relationships
  • Track record of successful GIS strategic planning and execution
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present to executive stakeholders
  • Independent and team-oriented work capability
  • Multi-project management skills
  • GIS management and team leadership experience
  • This position is 100% onsite at our corporate office in Downtown Houston.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript, Python, .NET
  • SQL and PostgreSQL database knowledge
  • Geospatial analysis expertise
  • Advanced degree or GIS certifications
  • Project management and strategic planning experience
